This is a deceptively powerful rod, but still delicate enough for the dry fly fisherman.  It has a crisp, middle to tip action.  It is an ex demo rod with the original gold screw winch fitting and wooden spacer.  It has the original gold hand tipping on every whipping and the original transfer showing the Merlin bird of prey.  Handle has been well used, but other than that, the rod is in good condition.
