These two piece carp rods range from a sensitive 11’ 1.5lbs model up to a powerful 13’ 3 – 4lbs model.
The 11’ model is available in 1.5lbs and 2lbs.
The 1.5lbs model is most suitable for those anglers who do most of their fishing at ranges from under the rod tip to 20 or 30 yards.
Can be used with casting weights up to 1.5ounces and is at its best for float fishing free-lining margin bottom or surface baits, or fishing sensitively with light controllers for floater fishing.
The 12’ model is available in 1.5lbs up to 3lbs.
These rods present a superb compromise between a casting tool and a fishing rod.
The 12’ 2.5lbs model is a genuine 130 yards plus caster which gives full confidence when the fish is being played out under the tip.
Easy to use with 3 – 3.5ounce casting weights.
The 12’ 3lbs model is very light in the hand for a big distance rod.
At its best casting 3.5 – 4ounce casting weights but will take bigger loads when required.
The 12’6” model is available in 2.5lbs – 3lbs and are able to cast huge distances, but still feeling completely in control.
Do not feel that 3lbs is beyond your capabilities but if you do this model will change your mind.
The 13’ model is available in 3 – 4lbs and is the most powerful carp rod around.
The ultimate long range casting tool but still very light and will not tire you.
