Every Bruce & Walker rod is designed and hand-built by us, entirely in Great Britain. If you're weighing a new rod against a well-loved used one — and with 70 years of Bruce & Walker rods in circulation, that's a real choice many of our customers face — here's what a new build gets you: today's carbon materials and layups, a rod built to your exact length, weight and action, the Top Flor cork and componentry we use now, and a direct relationship with the people building it. A well-cared-for used rod is a fine thing; a new one is built around you.
Prices exclude VAT. As many of our customers are based outside the UK, we quote prices before VAT; UK VAT at 20% is added to UK orders. Contact us for current stock and delivery.

Bruce & Walker has built a lot of rods in the past 70 years. It would be impossible to list them all, but if you own one that needs attention — including rods from other makers, where we can often source or match a replacement blank — get in touch.

Build Queue & Wait Times. Every Bruce & Walker rod is handmade to order, not drawn from stock — builds are taken in the order a complete specification and full payment are received: length, model, taper, line weight, colour, fittings, and any other build detail. We're always happy to hear from you in advance, but production only begins once we have your complete order and payment in full. Every Bruce & Walker rod is built here from raw materials: we cut, roll and cure our own blanks from carbon prepreg, cork and components purchased in advance, then build the rod by hand. Because each order draws on that stock and is built to your specification, payment is taken in full when you order. We aim to complete orders within 8 weeks, though because each rod is bespoke and hand-built, we're unable to guarantee wait times.
